Care From Us

Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to Care From Us, a caregiving coordination service based in San Francisco, California, Bay Area. By accessing or using our website, platform, or services, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by the terms outlined in this document.

These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between Care From Us (referred to as “we,” “our,” or “the Company”) and you, whether you are a Careseeker, Caregiver, or visitor using our platform. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you should not use our website or services.

To ensure clarity throughout this document, the following key terms are used:

Careseeker: An individual, or a representative acting on their behalf, who is seeking caregiving services.

Caregiver: An individual who contacts CareFromUs to express interest in providing caregiving services and may, upon meeting the stated requirements and passing the screening process, be approved to join our caregiver pool. Approved caregivers may be matched with Careseekers based on qualifications, availability, and suitability.

Services: Non-medical support offerings facilitated through Care From Us, including but not limited to companionship, personal assistance, medication reminders, and basic household help.

Match/Matching: The process of pairing a Careseeker with a Caregiver based on the Careseeker’s care requirements and the Caregiver’s skills, availability, and suitability.

2. Scope of Services

Care From Us provides non-medical caregiving services that include, but are not limited to, personal care assistance, companionship, medication reminders, light household support, and related services tailored to the needs of elderly or dependent individuals.

Our platform and operations serve both Careseekers and Caregivers:

Careseekers can contact us using the phone number or email listed on our website to request caregiving assistance based on their unique needs. Once we assess the type of care required, we facilitate a match with a qualified and available Caregiver from our network of approved caregivers.

Caregivers interested in joining our network may reach out via email to express their intent. Applicants will go through a screening and interview process, and those who meet our standards will be added to our caregiver list for future matching opportunities.

All care arrangements are subject to availability, mutual agreement, and a proper fit between the Careseeker’s needs and the Caregiver’s qualifications. Care From Us does not guarantee the availability of services or specific Caregivers at all times.

3. Eligibility and Use of Services

Our services are intended for both Careseekers and Caregivers who are at least 18 years of age. Careseekers may use our services on their own behalf or on behalf of a dependent who requires care. Caregivers must also be of legal age and meet the qualifications required to deliver non-medical caregiving services.

By accessing or using our services, you affirm that all information you submit is accurate, complete, and current. You agree not to use the platform for any unlawful, abusive, misleading, or fraudulent purpose.

Care From Us reserves the right to suspend or terminate any user’s access—whether a Careseeker or a Caregiver—if they are found to be in violation of these Terms or if their conduct jeopardizes the safety, integrity, or trust of our caregiving community.

4. Booking, Payments, and Cancellations

Care From Us offers caregiving services on a paid basis. Rates and payment terms will be communicated to Careseekers during the booking process. At this time, all payments are made directly to the company owner, as our automated payment systems are still under development.

Once payment has been received, a confirmation will be sent manually by the owner through the contact information provided by the Careseeker. Please ensure that your contact details are accurate and up to date.

Invoices may be issued depending on the care arrangement selected. All payments must be completed before services begin, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours in advance to avoid charges. Failure to pay on time may result in service delays or cancellations.

5. Caregiver Conduct and Careseeker Responsibilities

At Care From Us, we strive to foster a respectful and trustworthy relationship between Careseekers and Caregivers. All Caregivers who wish to be part of Care From Us must first apply through our official channels and undergo a screening process. Once accepted, they are expected to consistently demonstrate professionalism, compassion, punctuality, and respect for the privacy and dignity of the Careseekers they are assigned to.

Likewise, Careseekers and their families are responsible for providing a safe, respectful, and lawful environment where caregiving services can be delivered effectively. This includes treating Caregivers with courtesy, honoring agreed schedules, and communicating clearly regarding care expectations.

Any form of abuse, discrimination, harassment, or behavior that puts either party at risk—whether from the Careseeker, their household, or the Caregiver—may result in immediate termination of services and removal from our platform. Care From Us reserves the right to take appropriate action, including investigation and suspension, to protect the safety and integrity of all parties involved.

Care From Us is not a licensed healthcare provider, and our services are not intended to replace emergency medical care or professional medical advice. In the event of a medical emergency, Careseekers and their families should contact emergency services immediately.

We carefully screen Caregivers and instill in them the values of good conduct, responsibility, and professionalism. However, Care From Us is not liable for the individual actions, misconduct, or negligence of any Caregiver, whether during or outside of caregiving hours.

Additionally, we are not liable for delays, data losses, or interruptions caused by third-party tools, internet or platform outages, or technical failures that may affect communication, scheduling, or service delivery.
Our total liability in any case is limited to the amount paid by the Careseeker for the specific service in question. By using our services, both Careseekers and Caregivers acknowledge and accept these limitations.
